Multi-Disciplinary Approach to Pain Management
RMT 5, 6, 7 ONLY
This interactive lecture and hands-on workshop explores the value of a multi-disciplinary approach to pain management, drawing on the diverse skills and clinical experience of massage and bodywork practitioners.
Participants will examine a range of practical approaches that can be utilised to assist clients experiencing acute and chronic pain. Through guided assessment, palpation, observation of pain responses, and evaluation of range-of-motion changes, attendees will develop strategies for identifying key factors contributing to pain and dysfunction.
This workshop is designed for massage therapists and bodywork practitioners seeking to broaden their clinical approach to pain management and maximise the therapeutic benefit they can offer their clients.
