Notice of the 2025 MANZ Annual General Meeting

Massage Aotearoa New Zealand’s 2025 Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held online via Microsoft Teams on Saturday 13 September at 4.00pm.

The AGM is a key event in our calendar — a time to reflect on the past year, hear updates from leadership, and look ahead to the future of massage therapy in Aotearoa. While there is no in-person conference this year, planning is already underway for a South Island event in 2026.

At the AGM, we will:

• Present highlights from our annual report and financials

• Elect new members to our governance group, Te Rōpū Kaitiaki

• Celebrate excellence with the presentation of two national awards

We’ll also discuss any proposals that help shape how the Association operates and continues to evolve.

Contributing to the Profession

Nominations are now open for key governance roles, and we welcome submissions from those passionate about supporting and shaping the future of the massage profession in Aotearoa. Award nominations are also open to recognise outstanding contributions in the field.

Key deadlines:

• Award nominations close Friday 1 August 2025 at 5.00pm

• Governance nominations and proposal submissions close Tuesday 15 July 2025 at 5.00pm
